An Interview With Chantler ........Tell us a bit about yourself. What would you like us to know about you? Born on the 23rd day of January 1985 in Bronx, New York, Adam Ronnie Green who goes by the pen name “Chantler” first began writing as a student with the intentions of expressing his thoughts and feelings as a way of releasing anger, frustration and emotions. Chantler graduated Touro College in early 2008; majoring in Social work with a minor in both Literature and Communication Arts. Chantler entered numerous poetry and writing competitions and won a prize every time. Now as an Author, Chantler plans to make an impact on society. Trials and tribulations emerge throughout the years which have led to the creation of all his writing pieces. Books for audience viewers’ abroad teenage years to beyond adulthood stage in their lives. Chantler currently resides in Windsor, North Carolina. What are you doing now? (Career? Married? Single? Children? Pets?) I am a full time Author/Book Writer. I am single with no children. I have already published three e-books to date. What is your favourite food? Lasagna & fried chicken What is your favourite colour? green & brown What is your favourite sound? Bird chirping Who is your favourite person? Chantler.... I love myself. What is your favourite place? Anywhere in the world where there is peace. What is your favourite memory? Realizing I have the talent to write a book. What is your favourite article of clothing? My fur coat. What is your favourite word? Education What is your favourite writers' quote and why? "To judge a person is to part take in a form of brown-nosing".....This is my own quote for standing out as an Author of the new millenium. What is your most favourite quality about yourself? I love to communicate with others through literature. What is the least favourite quality about yourself? I love who I am and what I stand for as a person. If you could go anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why? New York for mass promotion for my e-books What inspires you to write and why? People going through struggles and overcoming them in everyday life. What is your favourite book and why? The Color Purple. Because it speaks about a time where segregation was a big issue. What is your favourite genre and why? Fiction..It allows my mind to wander in places I could only imagine. List your three favourite authors (any genre) and why? Alice Walker, Sapphire, T.D. Jakes What do you think makes a writer successful? A positive attitude and dedication to his/her craft as an Author. Whta is it that makes you successful as a writer? Whenever I write, I always make sure I am in the moment and give each story my full undivided attention. What are your goals as a writer? To sell millions of copies and make an impact on infinite number of lives worldwide. What is the best tip you can give to fellow writers? Remaining focus and determined is the key. The finish project will speak for itself. What do you hope to provide your readers with through your writing? I hope to provide my readers with hope and belief that anything is possible if they put their minds to it. And my book hoefully will inspire those who have gone through similar situations and have survived to relate to my book(s). I have published 3 books on December 25, 2009. How long did it take you to write your book(s)? To be honest, It took me one whole day to write Bi-Sexual Revoultion. What would you do differently if you could repeat the same publishing experience? I would take the same route I did because it is hard to find a publisher asking for no fee that will promote my books to millions of readers. What have you learned about the publishing world? It can be difficult to get your book off the ground and into the mainstream commercial market. But hard work will eventually pay off if you're consistent. This is your chance to 'Talk Back' to your readers. What would you like to say to them? I appreciate everyone who has read or will read my books. Much love to you all. And I wrote each book with a passion. What's the one thing that you want them to know about your writing? I write from my heart. If it isn't from my heart I prefer not to put it down on paper. I am aware that my books are a representation of my ability and credibility as a profound writer. |
