An Interview With Cvester Conner

Tell us a bit about yourself. What would you like us to know about you?

Born in Meridian, Mississippi in 1962, I am the
author of seven computer engineering study guides, and one Christian Non-Fiction book published in September 2006. My second book is scheduled for release later this year.

What are you doing now? (Career? Married? Single? Children? Pets?)

In addition to writing, I am a certified software engineer, and a small business owner. A father of one beautiful daughter and two sons, I reside in Bellaire, Texas.

What is your favourite food?

My favorite foods is most every Philipina dish, even the ones I can't pronounce.

What is your favourite colour?

My favorite color is Burgundy

What is your favourite sound?

My favorite sound is actually the voice of my partner, Hilda.

Who is your favourite person?

My favorite person, outside of my immediate family is my Pastor, Joel Osteen.

What is your favourite place?

My favourite place is Manila

What is your favourite memory?

My favorite memory is better unstated.

What is your favourite article of clothing?

My favourite article of clothing is my gold vest.

What is your favourite word?

My favourite word is positive

What is your favourite writers' quote and why?

"To receive it on the outside you must first see it on the inside."

This quote by Joel Osteen made all the difference in my life.

What is your most favourite quality about yourself?

My ability to think in a positive light about anything.

What is the least favourite quality about yourself?

My temper.

If you could go anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?

Manila Philippines just becaue I love it there so much, the beauty, the culture, I just love it.

What inspires you to write and why?

I am inspired to write because of all the hurting people I see in the world everyday.

What is your favourite book and why?

My favorite book is Your Best Life Now by Joel Osteen because it is so everything I believe.

What is your favourite genre and why?

Christian because that's what I relate to.

List your three favourite authors (any genre) and why?

My three favorite authors are Hilda Ajero because she is my partner of course, Nicole Mullins because her voice is so perfect, and The Williams Brothers just because they write and perform based on real life issues.

What do you think makes a writer successful?

Marketing and a great subject.

Whta is it that makes you successful as a writer?

My desire and gift to write for Christ.

What are your goals as a writer?

To share everything I can about the Lord Jesus Christ with as many people as I can.

What is the best tip you can give to fellow writers?

Believe in what you write and never grow tired of doing what you believe in.

What do you hope to provide your readers with through your writing?

A better way of Christian living and enjoyment of life.

My computer study guides "How To Become An MCSE in 3 Weeks" has been sold in both the US and Asia, published by LPI in 2004, and can be purchased from my website at www.cvconner.com

My first book, "How Your Expectancy Defeats Your Prayers" has just been releases and may be purchased either thru my website or from the publisher's website at www.lulu.com

How long did it take you to write your book(s)?

It took me about 4 months to write my book although it was taken from 5 years of unknown research.

What would you do differently if you could repeat the same publishing experience?

Nothing, I'm very pleased with my entire publishing process.

What have you learned about the publishing world?

Lot and I'm still learning everyday.

Buy my book. If you have ever prayed for anything which you didn't receive, this book is written for you! I promise you that you're going to be richly blessed with the contents and your life will begin moving in a more positive direction.

What's the one thing that you want them to know about your writing?

I write prayerfully and in complete privacy. This is done so that I may talk to God and hear what it is that he wants me to say to you.
