An Interview With Andrea InfanteTell us a bit about yourself. What would you like us to know about you? I love to write. It's an adventure, and an escape for me. I'm an outgoing person and love dogs. What are you doing now? (Career? Married? Single? Children? Pets?) I am in sales. I write during my freetime. I got married August 30, 2005 in Jordan. I have a ten year old daughter, Jessica, two minature pinschers, Gypsy and Shadow. I have a new dog, Buddy who is a Bischon Frise. What is your favourite food? Italian and Middle Eastern. What is your favourite colour? Black, blue, violet and orchid. What is your favourite sound? New age music and chanting. Who is your favourite person? My husband, Fisal Saraireh and my daughter, Jessica. What is your favourite place? Mexico. What is your favourite memory? When I had my daughter. What is your favourite article of clothing? Sexy clothes. What is your favourite word? Love. What is your favourite writers' quote and why? "To be or not to be." Shakespeare. What is your most favourite quality about yourself? That I believe in Love and the Universe (Spirit). What is the least favourite quality about yourself? I still smoke occasionally. :-( If you could go anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why? To Jordan to see my husband until he comes to the USA. I love and miss him so much. What inspires you to write and why? Like I had said in the very first question asked. It is another world for me. An escape. What is your favourite book and why? My favourite book is Changes, by Daniel Steele. It was an indepth love story and reality when it comes to changes in ones life. What is your favourite genre and why? Fiction/Romance. Again, it's an adventure, and escape, a fantasy for me to journey on. List your three favourite authors (any genre) and why? Daniel Steele-Romance haven. What do you think makes a writer successful? Telling a good story, keeping the pages turning, delivering a hero and a villian. Whta is it that makes you successful as a writer? I love to tell a story. What are your goals as a writer? To become another Daniel Steele. What is the best tip you can give to fellow writers? Keep writing. Don't worry about the editing, don't worry about anything, just keep writing. You can touch up after the book is finished with an editor. What do you hope to provide your readers with through your writing? Hope,fantasy,love and life lessons. If you have published a book, tell us about your publishing success (title, publishing date and company, where it is available to purcahse). I have published through Publish America, my first novel, Private Dancer, April, 2006 and it can be purchased through www.publishamerica.com, www.amazon.com.www.barnesandnoble.com and www.ebookscafe.com How long did it take you to write your book(s)? When I first wrote Private Dancer, I was not working full-time. At that time I was married and living abroad. It took me 6 months to write it, but with editing and then revising, probably another 6 months or so. What would you do differently if you could repeat the same publishing experience? Correct the typos I missed in proofreading. What have you learned about the publishing world? It's very competative. This is your chance to 'Talk Back' to your readers. What would you like to say to them? I hope you enjoy Private Dancer. In the book you will find the messages on hope, love, fantasy, the hero and the villain and most of all, life lessons. What's the one thing that you want them to know about your writing? I'm not perfect in writing, but I can tell a story. |
