An Interview With Bill ClemTell us a bit about yourself. What would you like us to know about you? I am 52 years old and reside in Delaware near the Atlantic Ocean. I have been writing novels for the past twelve years. What are you doing now? (Career? Married? Single? Children? Pets?) I have been a regestered nurse for the past twenty three years and worked in a variety of health care settings. I am married and have four children ages 11-25. I have a dog named Shi-Shi. She's a Japenese Chin. What is your favourite food? Pizza What is your favourite colour? Green What is your favourite sound? The only thing that sells books is a great story. What is your most favourite quality about yourself? Preserverance What is the least favourite quality about yourself? procrastinating If you could go anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why? Garmish, Germany. I'd love to show my family the beauty of it. What inspires you to write and why? The sounds of early morning because everything is fresh and new and you don't know where your word processer will take you. What is your favourite book and why? Cold Mountain by Charles Frazier because it's beautifully written and captures the true essence of love. What is your favourite genre and why? Thriller fast paced and surprising List your three favourite authors (any genre) and why? Robin Cook - authentic description of medical settings. What do you think makes a writer successful? the ability to move one emotionally Whta is it that makes you successful as a writer? My ability to write in a crowded genre(medical thriller) and still come up with original plots that haven't been done before. What are your goals as a writer? To publish one or two novels a year What is the best tip you can give to fellow writers? Learn the craft and study the publishing business. Give yourself a reality check once in a while. What do you hope to provide your readers with through your writing? An entertaining read that they would recommend to someone else.
