About
the book
The
best of us have had an occasional thought on how to even the score
with an enemy. Typically, conventional wisdom overrules such erroneous
thinking. Then, an individual forgives or at least moves forward,
forgetting the past. Not the case with David Epstein.
David
is a capable psychiatrist with a promising practice, a lovely
wife and investments that have made him a wealthy man. Seething
with anger against a former friend, Todd Reams, David begins to
destroy himself. Cunning in approach, David patiently and persuasively
manipulates his contacts to arrange for his opportunity to execute
revenge against his old friend who has become his foe. When their
paths cross after years of separation, David establishes the basis
of arranging for his revenge. In so doing, he causes his wife,
Ann, to become acquainted with Todd. When Ann secretively becomes
romantically involved with Todd, she is unwittingly placed in
the midst of the men's web of deceit.
